2021 CALENDAR OF EVENTS

Hello Atlantic Region Members and Friends:

Spring has finally sprung after a few false starts (damn Groundhog!). The Tulips are popping, and it's time to give our Club a shot in the arm and reinvigorate our Region with a host of fun activities throughout the remaining months.

First on the list is our kick-off brunch on May 22nd.

Saturday, May 22nd

Spring Brunch at

The Ole '76 House

We're going back to a favorite location for the start of our season -- the historic Old '76 House in Tappan, New York. For those of you who've not been, the '76 House is the oldest continually operating tavern in the United States and it is where British Major Andre was held during the revolutionary war. Andre conspired with Benedict Arnold and was treated very well at the '76 House until he eventually met with a noose across the street. No such fate awaits you, but you will feast on Eggs Benedict Arnold; Avocado toast; Yankee Pot Roast; and Molten Chocolate cake among other things while quaffing unlimited champagne, bellinis, or mimosas (supplied generously by the 76 House) as well as tea and coffee. We are likely to be joined at this fabulous brunch/lunch by a historical figure: maybe George Washington - Maybe Benedict Arnold - who knows?

The cost for this event is $49.00 per person and it is limited to forty guests so please reserve your seats by Emailing RROC.VP.Activities@gmail.com. Do not reply to this email; -- your reply will wind up somewhere in the dark recesses of the internet. Once we have your reservation we'll confirm and provide instructions where to mail your check. RESERVE EARLY! THIS WILL FILL UP!

Next: Saturday, June 5th

Tech Meet at Paul's Garage, Hawthorne, NJ

The Tech Meet is one of the great benefits of belonging to our Club. Internationally renowned Rolls Royce and Bentley Expert John Palma will be on hand to examine your PMC on a lift and tell you definitively what's right, what's wrong, and what may need immediate attention.

This is a very social way to learn more about your own Rolls Royce or Bentley and to glean tips of what to watch out for if you contemplate purchasing a particular model.

The event will be held at Paul's Motors, 990 Goffle Road, Hawthorne NJ, 07506 (15 miles or 17 minutes from the George Washington Bridge) at 9am.

Special Thanks to our Former Chairman Bob Austin and John Carter for helping pull this together.

Coffee and donuts will be served upon arrival.

This event is free but YOU MUST RESERVE A SPOT BY SENDING AN EMAIL TO RROC.VP.Activities@gmail.com. Again, Do not just reply to this email; -- your reply will wind up somewhere in the dark recesses of the internet.
