Hello Fellow RROC Atlantic Region and Bentley Driver's Club Members and Friends:

We're having our St Patrick's Day Weekend Brunch at The Old '76 House in Tappan, New York on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 12:30 PM.

Being a son, or at least a grandson of old Eire, I'm fully aware that this is actually one day past St. Patrick's Day but I don't think he'd mind as long as we put on a proper feast -- and that we will!. You'll enjoy champagne and Mimosa's courtesy of the Old '76 House and a sumptuous breakfast/lunch buffet (i.e. Brunch) featuring such favorites as Eggs Benedict Arnold, Colonial Salmon and Yankee Pot Roast. No snake though as St. Patrick drove them all out of Ireland.

While it's a bit far-fetched to assume he drove them in a Proper Motor Car, Rolls Royce does have a rich long history in Ireland with a 1947 Silver Wraith landaulette still commissioned as its Presidential State Car. Rolls Royce armored vehicles were also used by both sides in the Irish Civil War.

The Old '76 House is a perennial favorite of ours. For those of you unfamiliar, it's located at 110 Main Street, Tappan, New York, 10983. The tavern dates back to 1668 and has a rich revolutionary war heritage. Major Andree, a British spy of sorts, was housed there after conspiring with Benedict Arnold to surrender West Point to the British. The likes of Alexander Hamilton and yes, even George Washington were known to frequent the place. There's plenty of parking right behind and we'll designate spaces for our Rolls and Bentley

So come out on March 18th in your Green (or Scottish kilt or English Beefeater outfit or whatever if so inclined) and we'll celebrate the day in style. The Buffet including the Mimosas and Champagne is $59.00 dollars per person. We are limited to 40 persons attending.

So make my Irish eyes smile and reply right now, this minute while its in front of you and on your mind. Mark the date, commit to however many seats you need, and reply to this email with that information.

Mail your checks to RROC c/o Joe Marley, PO.Box 22 Marshalls Creek, Pa 18335. It makes our lives much easier when you pay in advance so get out those checkbooks and stamps;

-- Sorry, No Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, BarclayCard, letters of credit, but I will personally come out to you to accept pots of gold!
